Dr. Gary G. Ziegler

Dr. Gary Ziegler has served as Orchard Park's Senior Pastor since 1995. Dr. Ziegler holds a Bachelor of Arts from Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio; a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey; a Doctor of Ministry from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and a Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Penn Council for Relationship, Division of Family Studies.
Dr. Ziegler has served churches in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Washington State, and Indiana. He began a new congregation in Richland, Washington and in Latrobe, Pennsylvania he was the founder of the Christian Community Counseling Center which is now part of the counseling practice of Latrobe Area Hospital. In seminary his concentration was in preaching and worship. He is also a certified Marriage and Family Therapist and is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapist. His counseling specialty is in the area of loss, grief counseling, marriage preparation and enrichment. He also helps people through life's transitions.
Dr. Ziegler has been married to his wife, Rebecca, for 30 years. They have two children, Emily and Heather. He enjoys spending time with his family, the ocean, basketball, golf, and working in the yard.

Rev. Michael G. Ireland
Associate Pastor, mireland@orchardpark.org
Rev. Ireland has served as Orchard Park's Associate Pastor since 1999. He currently leads OPPC in the areas of Mission, Stewardship, Caring Ministries, and Adult Education.
Mike holds a BA and MA in Special Education and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Seminary. He has served churches as an Associate and Solo Pastor in Sumner, Washington, west of the Cascades, Boulder Colorado, Northwest Indiana and Orchard Park. He has served in various Presbyteries and is currently a member of the Association of Presbyterian Mission Pastors.
Mike enjoys bicycling, weight lifting, analyzing movies and reading books (history, biography, poetry, and good novels).

Kevin Long

OPPC is excited to welcome the arrival of our new Associate Pastor, Kevin Long. Kevin comes to us directly from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary where he was a 2007 graduate. Ministry is Kevin’s second career. He began a career in psychology and worked as a private tutor in New York prior to attending Seminary. A life devoted to ministry is not new to Long, he grew up in a Minister’s home. Kevin is now following in his father’s ministry footsteps.
Kevin brings with him a family of five. During this hectic time in his life with graduation, a new job, moving and buying a home, Kevin and his wife Rebecca just gave birth to a daughter, their third child.
OPPC is blessed to add Long’s talents to our mix. His psychology studies, ministry talents and a love of teaching will be an asset to us all. The entire church community cloaks his arrival with much anticipation and excitement!

Ed Stahl

Ed Stahl began his service to Orchard Park in January of 2005. His background includes 28 years in the insurance business as an operations executive. He is married to Susann, and they are the parents of four grown children.
As Orchard Park's Director of Operations/Business Manager, Ed is responsible for managing the church office and staff, assisting the Trustees with the caring for the church building and monitoring the church budget. One of his goals for OPPC's future is to increase the efficient use of the church's resources. In his spare time, Ed enjoys live theatre, travel, and church volunteer activities.

Molly Schmidt
Director of Modern Worship, mschmidt@orchardpark.org
Molly is the Director of Modern Worship here at Orchard Park. She began leading the Modern Worship service, Regeneration, in September, 2006. With this role, she hopes to create an exciting and dynamic atmosphere of worship in the Regeneration service for the whole family that fosters personal growth and an ecstatic love for Christ!
Molly lives in Carmel with her husband Chris and three awesome kids! She is from Indiana and has been a singer and songwriter ever-since she can remember. She loves music and its ability to kindle the spirit of worship.
Molly also has an interesting passion for science. She has a Masters degree in Human Biology from the University of Indianapolis and is finishing her PhD from Ohio State (although she never transferred her Big 10 loyalties by becoming a Buck-eye fan!) She currently teaches full-time in the Biology Department at the University of Indianapolis.

Sharon England

Sharon England has served as Orchard Park's Director of Children's Ministries since 2000. Sharon is responsible for the creation and implementation of Children’s Ministries programs for children from birth to 12th grade. Sharon holds a B.S. in Education from Eastern Illinois University. She has completed Continuing Education courses at Purdue University, IUPUI, Butler University, Ball State University.
Sharon enjoys time with family and friends, gardening, reading, playing the piano (not very well!), walking, biking and travel. Sharon and husband, Terry, have been married 35 years. Their son, Jeremy, age 28, lives in Broad Ripple.

Michael Pietranczyk

Michael J. Pietranczyk joined the staff of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in January of 2004. Michael holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music degree from Florida State University, and has completed his coursework for a Doctor of Music degree at Indiana University (currently in progress). He has served as Organist and Choirmaster for St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Indianapolis and St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Thomasville GA, and Director of Music at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Tampa FL, and Miles Park Presbyterian Church, Cleveland OH.
In 1996, Michael was inducted into the Phi Chapter of the Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honorary Society, and in 1997, was appointed Associate Instructor of Organ at the Indiana University School of Music.
In addition to his duties as conductor and organist at OPPC, Michael also enjoys composing anthems and service music, and directing children's and hand bell choirs. He met and married his beautiful wife, Kimberly (soprano) at Oberlin. She currently performs with the OPPC choir and teaches music, K-5. His other interests include cooking, wine, and the latest electronic gadgets.

Sandy Legge

Sandy Legge began working at Orchard Park in March of 2006. She has a background in accounting and works part time at OPPC. She and her husband, Mike, have six children and eight grandchildren, four in Florida and four in Ohio (2 sets of twins!).
In her spare time, Sandy enjoys scrapbooking, reading, watching sports and solving sudoku puzzles.

Jenni Crowley

Jenni Crowley has served as Orchard Park's Director of Jr. High Ministries since 2001. Jenni holds a B.A. in Speech Communications from Indiana University and a Masters of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary.
Jenni has been a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She has worked as Youth Director of Bloomington First Christian Church, Youth Director of First Christian Church in Shelbyville, Tennessee, and at Vasa Brougher Insurance Company and Ben Davis High School. Jenni loves going to the beach -- "It brings spiritual renewal."

Karen Borges

Karen Borges has served as Orchard Park's Membership Secretary since 1998. Karen has worked at Colgate-Palmolive in NYC, St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in N. Ridgeville, OH, Beth Tikvah Congregation (a Jewish Reform Temple) in Hoffman Estates, St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Palatine, IL, Webster Groves Presbyterian Church in Webster Groves, MO, Laurel Lake Retirement Community in Hudson, OH, and Janus Developmental Services in Noblesville prior to joining the staff at OPPC.
Karen has been married to her husband John for 33 years and has two grown children, Derek and Amy, who both live in the area. She is an animal lover, sci-fi fan and loves to bake.

Susan Woods

Susan Woods has served Orchard Park as secretary and receptionist since June 2000. Susan is a member of Michigantown Christian Church, where her husband is the Senior Pastor. Susan worked teaching pre-school for 6 years in Florida and Tennessee then worked for 14 years at Riverdale Baptist Church and School in Maryland as Office Manager and also doing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll.
She has been married to her husband Bob for 28 years and they have two grown children, Karen who is the Children’s Minister of Memorial Church of Christ in Livonia, Michigan, and Mike, who is studying to be a chef. Susan enjoys reading, playing the piano and being a pastor’s wife.

Barb Clark
Learning Center Director, bclark@orchardpark.org
Barb is excited to be the new director of the Learning Center. She has an elementary education degree from Trinity University in Texas and a master's degree in elementary education from Butler. She has taught fourth grade, started a kindergarten enrichment program from her home, and substituted in the Carmel Clay Schools. Most recently, she was a preschool teacher at Carmel United Methodist Church. From the time she was a child she always knew she wanted to work and be with children.
Barb just celebrated her 24th wedding anniversary to her husband, Rob. They have two children, James who will be a junior at IU and Annie a junior at Carmel High School. The family loves to travel together and have been on many fun trips. They worship at Grace Community Church, where Barb shepherds a small women's group.

William Steele
Counseling Ministry Staff Therapist
William Steele has served Orchard Park as the Counseling Ministry Staff Therapist since 2001. William provides individual, marital and family counseling and therapy with children, adolescents and adults; he alsoteaches adult ministry courses on family dynamics.
William holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy.
William has 20 year in private practice of marriage and family therapy and has been a consultant to family-owned businesses. He and his wife Patricia “Pete” Steele have been married for 25 years. They have two daughters, Kate, age 17 and Kelly, age15.
