Office Hosts

We too shall serve the Lord because he is our God.

We have discovered that providing a Sunday morning Office Host stationed at the Church office reception desk has been a big asset and has elicited many positive comments from members as well as visitors. The Office Host serves in a supplementary role to the Pastoral Staff, Greeters and Ambassadors. The Office Host has a working knowledge of church procedures, is present in the office and available to provide information and assist members and visitors as needed on Sunday mornings. The Office Host should be able to help with the following tasks:

Telephone System
Daily, weekly and monthly church calendar events and locations
Have current Sunday Bulletins available
Direct members and visitors to the Blue Book, located in the Lounge
Take messages or direct calls to Staff voice mail

The first shift is from 8:30 am to 10:15 am. The second shift is from 10:15 am to 11:45 am. If you are interested in participating in this ministry, please call the OPPC office at 317-844-1107.
