Presbyterian Women

All women of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church are automatically members of Presbyterian Women (PW) in the congregation. Active membership is based on participation in circles, mission projects, Bible study and PW gatherings. Generally, PW encourage spiritual growth by studying the Bible within women’s circles, preparing devotions and programs, praying and sharing prayer concerns and joys, witnessing servant-leadership, participating in service to the Church and the community and participating in the fellowship network.

Our Mission Statement
“Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves: to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study; to support the mission of the church worldwide; to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.”

Our Theme for 2011- 2012 is “Mission Possible II”
