Growing & Connecting with the Lord
In keeping with Orchard Park Presbyterian Church’s mission to equip our entire church family to follow Christ’s Great Commission as found in Matthew 28:18-20, all members of the church must first be a disciple, one who follows Christ by accepting Him as their personal Lord and Savior. Following Christ includes whole-heartedly worshiping Him, connecting with Him through prayer, learning about Him and caring for others.
A lay leader is a volunteer who has the responsibility of developing and accomplishing goals for OPPC. The good news is that Christ is active in helping us to develop and accomplish these goals! Leadership positions are available in many areas at OPPC – as a church officer (Session/Elders, Deacons, or Trustees), as a member of one of the many committees at the church, or as a “doer of the word” by serving.
Spend time traveling through our website to learn how you can enrich your walk with Jesus and help guide OPPC to meet the call of the Great Commission.
Some places to start your journey Growing and Connecting with the Lord are:
