About Orchard Park Presbyterian Church
Orchard Park Presbyterian Church (OPPC) has been in existence since 1956, which means we recently celebrated our 55th anniversary and are looking forward to many more years to come. Although we've been around for a while, our primary goals have not changed. We want to reach out to our community, both here in the Indianapolis area as well as around the world, with the love of Jesus and the hope of His message: the Gospel! We are also here to love and care for our members in their many stages of life.
OPPC is one of 11,000 Presbyterian congregations in the United States, and ranks among the top 2% in size. In fact, we are the fourth largest Presbyterian Church in the State of Indiana! Regardless of our size, though, the members of OPPC are committed to becoming disciples of Jesus by being connected with others - inside and outside our walls - to further Christ’s kingdom.
OPPC is led by a Ministry Staff as well as Lay Leadership: the Session and Elders, Deacons, and Trustees. OPPC’s Stewardship program is led by an Elder. For more information about any of the leaders and leadership positions at OPPC, please click the corresponding links on the left.
In addition to Sunday Worship Services and the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion, OPPC offers many other services including Weddings, Funerals, and Confirmation. For more information, please click the "Worship Services Offered" link to the left.
In keeping with OPPC’s focus on reaching out to the community, OPPC sponsors an Art Gallery where local artists may showcase their work. Much of the work of our featured artists has a spiritual orientation.
