Why Lord?

Faith seeks understanding. I do not seek to understand that I may believe, but I believe in order to understand.

- St. Anselm of Canterbury

Summer is nearly here. The kids are harder to get out of bed and keep them motivated as the school year ends. You’re excited to spend time reflecting on the past year and what is to come. The same goes for Orchard Park Presbyterian Church. This summer we will be spending time in worship addressing the question of ‘Why?’

We ask the question “Why” because in seeking the answer we find the kind of knowledge that people need to live well – what has been called practical wisdom. This summer we will be thinking about God and our relationship with Him and His relationship with us. We will be thinking about why God created the world in the first place; Why God does things that we don’t understand; Why God demands justice, Why God provides grace and more. Join us this summer as we seek understanding.

Join us this summer at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday as we explore “Why?”
